Seventh and eighth graders at Log College may choose to participate in a variety of interscholastic sports.

In accordance with P.I.A.A. rules, all 7th and 8th grade students will have the opportunity to try out for interscholastic sports. The following is the list of sports: All Physical Forms can be downloaded in the form section of the website.

Very Important Note: We are offering PIAA Physicals at Log College again for $20.00.

Student Sports Physicals will be at Log College Middle School on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 8:30am - 11:30am. Click the link above to download a copy of the PIAA Physical form. Bring this form with sections 1 to 6 completed and signed by a parent or guardian with you and $20.00 payment. The doctor will fill out page 7. You can ignore pages 8 to 10.

All Athletes trying out for a fall 2022 athletic sport, need to complete a PIAA Physical after June 1st.  This physical will be good for the entire 2022-2023 Athletic Season at Log College Middle School.



Sports Seasons:

Fall: Football, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Soccer (Boys), Cheerleading (Football, Boy's Basketball.)
Winter: Girls Basketball, Boy's Basketball, Wrestling
Spring: Baseball, Softball, Girl's and Boy's Track, Soccer (Girls), Coed Tennis and Coed Lacrosse.



Academic Eligibility:
You must pursue a full-time curriculum defined and approved by your Principal.

You must be passing at least four full-credit subjects, or the equivalent, as of each Friday during a grading period. If you fail to meet this requirement, you will lose your eligibility from the immediately following Sunday through the Saturday immediately following the next Friday as of which you meet this requirement.

You must have passed at least four full-credit subjects or the equivalent during the previous grading period, except that eligibility for the first grading period is based on your final grades for the preceding school year. If you fail to meet this requirement, you will lose your eligibility for at least 15 or 10 school days of the next grading period, beginning on the first day that report cards are issued. If your school has four grading periods, you will be ineligible for at least 15 school days; if your school has six grading periods, you will be ineligible for at least 10 school days.
